Objectives

Company: image of the company and positive appeal for employers and jobseeker in order to find the best person for the respective job

For the employees: to give a sense of emotional security, sense of belonging, valued corporate culture and self- motivation


 

Description of the implementation

All of the companies organise internal workshops, information published on internal newsletters and official FB/Instagram pages regarding diversity and topics such as ‘parents of LGBT kids’. They provide for free days in order to marry/enter into a registered partnership (abroad) even though Slovakia does not recognise either.

Increase in motivation and engagement, furthering of talent pool, new business opportunities and clients, valued corporate culture, greater respect and genuine mutual interest


 

Facilitators

Offer the training during working hours and motivate workers to assist

Facilitate work/family reconciliation if necessary to attend the training


 

Barriers

Lack of motivation of workers to attend and the lack of resources (economic and time)

Training takes place outside working hours and cannot be reconciled with family life
