Mario Bajkuša graduated in Sociology and Croatian Culture at the Croatian Studies of the University of Zagreb. Since 2010, he has worked as the Director of Development and Programmes at the Forum for Freedom in Education. He leads the School Democratisation programme with a particular focus on civic education and school management, and leads professional development seminars. He has led more than 15 projects funded by various EU funds, and is an active member of several committees and working groups. Mario is the president of the Governing Board of the Network of Education Policy Centres, and was the president of the Governing Board of the Academy for Political Development. He is the author and editor of several publications and collections of teaching materials. “I see the WE- Project as an opportunity to empower key experts in schools, and to provide support to LGBTIQ students in their preparation for work and active life in a democratic society.”
