“As a young gay student I was constantly faced with discrimination either personally or as a witness. I grew interested to see how we can help reduce negative effects of the lived discrimination on our health. The answer is – empowerment and visibility of LGBTIQ identities, which are also the main goals of the WE-Project. By creating tools for the young LGBTIQ people, giving them a voice and educating the professionals who come in contact with them, we can help reduce discrimination and its effects on the lives of LGBTIQ youth.”
